                  The KYK 13 and KYX 15A are extremely sensitive, but they
        were "Z'd" (zeroed) out.

        * 1440 - Received a MIJI report from 101 FSB. Told them to go to
        their alternate frequency. Submitted MIJI report to G-3 OPNS.

        23 JANUARY 1991

        *0407 - Message from G-3 OPNS: If any bedouins are within ten
        kilometers of your site, report to G-3 OPNS and MPs. VII Corps
        instructs all units to take this very seriously. Message passed
        to all units.

          0655 - Dreadnaught X-Ray deletes SFC Williams and SGT Faulk
        from their quartering party.

        * 0723 -  CG called on land line for Devil 6 and 5. Informed CG
        *f their  locations and he said, "Thanks, OUT."

        * 0725 -  All units were notified to pick-up warning order and
        *verlays  for Desert Storm 2 and 3.

        * 0747  - Demon company Spa for LOG BASE ALPHA

        * 0850  - Sapper 6 reports a MICLIC firing 231400JAN91 at grid PS
        436450  (same as yesterday). Tried to reach Devil 6 several times
        via FM  radio, but was unsuccessful. Notified Devil 6 at 1143
        hours.


        * 1030  - D Company, 1-34 AR closes on 30th Corps Support Group

        * 2050  - Received word from G-3 OPNS: MAJ Ochoa has reached
        Warehouse 18. He will call tomorrow.


        * 2055 - MAJ Barbour will link up with the PAO team and two
        combat photographers tomorrow at 0900 hours at the BDE ALOC. The
        team will be assigned to lst Brigade for the duration of the war.

        24 JANUARY 1991


          0220 - CPT Anderson (AF) reports seeing between twenty and
 Force (MNF) fighters flying due north and
        then seeing (with and without night observation devices) numerous
        spectacular mid-air explosions. To him, it appeared that Patriot
        missiles were engaging enemy missiles. We reported this
        information to G-2 OPNS
