the breach site. Decontamination of returning vehicles will be
conducted on MSR SCHOFIELD and MSR BERRY south of the breach
site.
(2) Smoke. Smoke operations will support
screening, PSYOP and deception operations conducted ICW 2nd
Brigade.
(3) (6) Chemical recon. FOX NBC recon vehicles
will support the Crossing Force Command during breaching and
crossing operations. Primary effort is to providing Technical
Intelligence Collection by means of spectrum analysis tapes and
environmental samples. Priority of effort for the FOX recon
vehicles supporting the Crossing Area Commands is to finding
contamination--Free areas.
b. (U) Tasks to subordinate units.
(1) (9) lst Brigade. One FOX recon squad supports
CAC, priority to finding contamination-free areas in Lanes A thru
H. Provide and establish hasty decon site ALPHA vic NT665465
using organic and DS assets. Conduct hasty decon for passing
units at decon site ALPHA. Release smoke platoon NLT conclusion
of PHASE III to 2nd Chem Bn.
(2) (S) 2nd Brigade. OneFOX recon squad supports
CAC, priority to finding contamination-free areas in Lanes I thru
P. Provide and establish hasty decon site BETA vic NTS45415
using organic and DS'assets. Conduct hasty decon for passing
units at decon site BETA. Release smoke platoon NLT conclusion of
PHASE III to 2nd Chem Bn.
(3) 3rd Brigade. Provide and establish hasty
decon site IRON vic NTS00480 using organic and DS assets. Conduct
hasty decon +or passing units at decon site IRON. Release smoke
n of PHASE III to 2nd Chem Bn.
(4) 45) DISCOM. Provide and transport 9,000
gallons water (potable or non@potable) to decon site HOSE via
NT500175, and 9,000 gallons water to decon site STUMP vic
NTS20120, NLT B-2. Provide and transport 6,000 gallons water to
decon site DRAGON vic NTS50460, NLT Division H+ie hours. Be
prepared to transport 152 barrels fog oil to 2nd Chem Bn at decon
site DRAGON NLT Division H+18 hours. Direct coordination with 2nd
Chem Bn authorized.
(5) (5) 176 Engineer Group. Prepare hasty der-on
sites at HOSE vic NT500175, and STUMP via NT82Oi2O, ICW 2nd Chem
Bn an 8-2. Prepare hasty decon site at DRAGON vic NTS50460 ICW
2nd Chem Bn NLT Division H+12 hours. Provide road marking signs
identifying decon sites on MSR SCHOFIELD and MSR BERRY to 2nd
Chem Bn NLT G-DAY. Direct coordination with 2nd Chem Bn
authorized.
