                h. Problems Requiring Corps Assistance:

                     11) Request transportation assets be allocated to
complete movement a+ 131st CSE Company from port to FAA. Unit is
critical. to completion a+ Phase T@I construction missions and
            future bberatibns.

'%2) Request reevaluation of all current construction
missions and revision of priorities RS necessary. With current
assets, Bde will be unable to complete now Log Base Echo
coristrLkc:@@ion, prepare MSRS, provide survivability to Corps
artillery units, construct C-!'-,O airfields, train to -conduct
breaching operations, and concurrently provide survivability and
            counterinability support to I CD.

                     (3) Request assistance in improving CL IX and major
assembly support for M916/M920 tractors. Bde tractor
availability is 63% of authorized, as a result of equipment
shortages (18 tractors) and NM'@ status due to high cross-country
use. Low tractor availability limits unit5' ability to fully
lity to
            support Corps future operations.

                     (4) Distribution plan for LORAN devices seems to have
overlooked size of brigade and its front line mission. Current
plan provides fewer than 2 per company +or units that typically
perform platoon missions over the entire corps area a+
            operations.
