                a. Situation. HQ,7th Engineer Brigade prepares to move to
            new location.

                b. Operations/Tng. Combat battalions continue      to train in
            breaching operations.

                h.   Problems Requiring Corps Assistance:

                     (1) Require@Corps  coordination for transportation assets
            to move  forward two sets of airfield matting.

                     (2) It is time to revise the construction priorities.
            MSRs are currently last priority. Priority changes way be
            warranted by new missions including theater.

                     (3) Lack of night vision goggles remain a critical
            problem in the brigade. NVGs are critical assets for nightime
            engineer operations.

                     t4) Request a r6lo6k of the current LORAN distribution
            plan.It overlooks the size of brigade and its front line mission.
            It provides fewer than 2 per company for units that typically,
            perform platoon missions over the corps area of operations.,

                     (5) Request assignment of a combat heavy battalion or at
            a minimum a combat support equipment company as an interim
            solution to the late arrival of the 527th Engineer Battalion,
o be available until after G Day.

                     (6) Request establishment of theater engineer work line
            at LD effective G Day. Allocation of assets to divisions leaves..
            brigade with insufficient assets to maintain MSRs to@the breach.
