               ANNEX X (CROSSING PLM), TO 1 ID(M) OPORD SCORPION DANGER (U)



                        (1) (U) Fire Support.

                            (a)       1 ID(N) Divarty provides suppressive#
               counter-fire, and deep fires in support of crossing units.
               on order, priority of fires to CFC (crossing units in barrier
               lanes, then in SAs).

                            (b) (9) Plan for employing OH-SSDs to identify
               and verify targets in support of CIIC.

                        (2)       Air Defense. 2-3 AI)A provides 5 Stinger
               sections GS to CFC, one section will rptnqin with CFC and
               cover from PL TEXHS to PL WISCONSIN,, 4 Stinger sections will
               be OPCON to I BP Co and cover fire PL COLORADO to PL NEW
               JERSEY and provide TCPs support. 15t and 2d Bde CACs will
               have their normal Ds battery.

                        (3)       Engineer Support. 176 Eng Cp provides
               Crossing Force Engineer (CFE) headquarters. On orderi, 176
               Eng Gp assumeb Crossing Force Command (CFC). Mark routes and
               breach lanes (see Appendix Cl Route/Lane Marking System).
               14aintain five operational lanes in each crossing area, four
               forward and one return lane. one forward lane in each area
               must be improved to handle sustained heavy wheeled vehicle
               traffic (5,000 gal tankers,, 40 foot tractor-trailers).
               Construct an additional road in each crossing area. one per
               crossing area will be open at all times. These improved
               lanes must be capable to sustain traffic at 40 kph. Improve
               two additional lanes per crossing area into gaps at least 300
               meters wide. Improve remaining lanes into gaps, clear
               obstacle creating two 4km gaps, one in each crossing area.

            (4)       Military Police. Annex Y (Military
               Police).

                   d. (U) Coordinating Instructions.
                        (1)       There 'Will be no movement north of PL
                    without CFC.approval.
                        (2)       CFC will provide specific crossing areas
               to units 6 hours prior to crossing time.

                        (3) @During hours of dar)mess,, units move
               forward of PL       under service drive.

                        (4)       -The Corps common variable will be used.
