                    DIVARTY -  Position improvement of AA VIDALIA. Position
                               defense training.



                     DISCOM -  AA MACON site Improvement, mission support,
                               combat service support planning.


                    2-4 CAV -  Continue screen of 24th ID-EMI northern
                               boundary.


                    1-5 AAA -  MOPP gear exchange, use of panel markers,
                               multichannel operations.

                      3 ENG -  Hasty decon, crew served weapons, route reoon
                               by sector.

                     24 SIG -  Site defense, NBC training.

                     124 MI -  Battle position Improvements, site defense.


           4. COMMANDER'S COMMENTS:

                a. Had a good session with GB and Chief of Ops, lst Marine
           Division. Exchanged plans for defense In sector. Currently
           working Issues resulting from meeting.

                b. C-130 air resupply mission Into JELADY Airfield
           successfully completed. TOT was 151400 Sep 90. Cargo
           consisted of a pallet of Class III package products, concertina
           wire, an M-88 transmission, and an M-113 engine. 24th ID-[MI
           Intends to continue requests for C-130 logistics resupply
           operations as the theater matures. Waiver to USAF requirement
           for firetruck and air/crash rescue team still remains an Issue.

                0. One of our soldiers was bitten by a sand viper this
           evening. We were advised that there was no anti-venom available
           at the 28th Combat Support Hospital. Appears that the only place
           that anti-venom Is an hand Is at the Air Transport Hospital at
           Dhahran. Essential that anti-venom be available at our Army
           field hospital. Request XVIII Abn Corps assistance In this
           matter.
