Cdr's Comments: The Brigade run Combat Lifesaver (CBLS) course is designed to
fully certify 40 additional personnel within the Brigade Task Force as combat
lifesavers. This is part of the continuing effort within the Brigade to
maximize the first response trauma aid training as we train for war. This
course includes training for first aid in a NBC environment. An additional 40
          man course scheduled for December.

Cdr's Comments: Aircraft Availability continues to be hampered by the lack of
          parts.!6cheduled/unscheduled maintenance-five of the ten ai@craft (UH-bo) are
down for parts. Some parts were ordered via DESERT EXPRESS over 10 days ago
and have still not arrived. DESERT EXPRESS is not working. We are continuing
to lose engines in UH-60s which is the major reason for our low availability.
Anticipate improved status over the next few days because of controlled
          substitution of'parts.
100% on Sensitive Items as of 282300C Nov 90.

          DISCOM: Submitted: 28 Nov 90

Cdr's Comments: Forty-two lines of SSSC items were picked up for the Division.
Quantities per line were very low making it almost impossible to come up with a
distribution plan across the Division i.e. 10 x brooms. Received an additional
          20 x M249 SAW barrels for a total of 120 each. 782d has completed 25 modified
100-round SAW ammo drams. We have completed 32 radio jobs and 7 fan towers at
Ft Bragg that I need shipped forward for deadlined equipment.

Cdr's Comments: Require all readiness platoon personnel and equipment be
shipped to Saudi Arabia before I Dec 90.
