       LOGISTICS ISSUE NO. 22 Equipment and Personnel Shipment Parameters
       (SGHR ITEM NO. 38)

       DISCUSSION: Military Airlift: 100 personnel or 10 short tons policy
       established to obtain airlift from home station or other APOE. Allows tracking
       of people/equipment. These parameters not set for commercial airlift made it
       difficult to track, created support planning shortfalls.

       RECOMMENDATIONS: (1) Consolidate UTCs at APOEs where possible. (2) Integrate
       equipment with personnel package, or add non-standard UTC to deploy equipment
       not integral to UTC. Timed in TPFDD to deploy in same transportation window.

       ACTIONS REQUIRED: None. Noted item. Scheduling of airlift is not a medical
       issue.
