0820 Asked SRC members for casualty inputs. Negative
casualty inputs.
0823 Report of individual at the Base Engine Shop, Bldg 467,
with problem of breathing. Ambulance was not dispatched. Engine
shop personnel bringing in patient to the ATH.
0845 Interior louvers for air vent in A-4, blown off by
Flight Surgeon area. Col Thompson.
0905 Reported FOD on 34R. Could not get access because of
lack of contact with tower.
1140 Col Moen, Base CC, Klng Fahd AB. Called to inquire
about our damage sustained. Parting Comment: "Keep all SCUDS to
yourself, I don't need any".
1150 Informed that Army Fox chemical vehicle was taking soil
samples to the 85th EVAC hospital from the A-4 crater site.
Samples were being taken there for biological analysis. SG rep
is unaware that any capability existed in theater to test for
biologics. Dr. Hassler from the ATH was contacted and will make
inquiry to 85th EVAC concerning biologic testing capability.

1204 Explosions in Area of 34L. MOC. (note) SPS responded,
area secure (nothing found).

1220 Medic 1 responding to Marine Corps Area across from
Gate 16. Reported that a marine discharged his weapon (pistol)
accidentally and shot himself in the leg. On-Scene at 1225.
Patient 34 y.o., White, male, with gunshot wound to upper l thigh/
No exit wound noted. Leg appears dislocated. Minimal blood
loss. Transported to ATH at 1235.
