We told them to pack the travel pods full of covers (intake, butt, AOA, pitot) and control panels for the pods as we had not received any for the three BAI birds. We did not request pods or TER's. - I have put a limit on phase overfly of fifty hours. They may take off with -49.9 hrs on them, but once they land, they go into - phase immediately. FEB 17: DAY 32 - CENTAF called last night and said that regardless of command, 21 days would yield a hangar queen. a/c 1278 is already at 23 days. - The investigation team is back out at the crash site. - All KKMC turns are being sent back for bad weather. We lost lines 65-68, 49-56, 77-80, 89-96,103-110, 121-128. We flew 81 scheduled lines with one FCF, a/c 1403 and 2 XC returns. - a/c 1150 went into Doha for trapped fuel. His old crew chief locked out the tanks and sent him back on his way. He said that bird was still a piece of junk!! - a/c 1218 went down behind enemy lines with engine problems. Pilot rescued. Yea!!!!! - We are flying four aircraft with the ECA mod to get feedback from the pilots. FEB 18: DAY 33 - Our rescued pilot returned from KKMC today. - We had the memorial service for the pilot we lost in the prior crash. - Only lost one line, 130, for engine no rotation completing our schedule of 131/132. - We also had three cross country returns including a/c 1213, the shocker, whose canopy was changed. - Overall, a quiet day.
